This is a new animation I created using a pixilation/stop motion method. The animation is titled Rising from the shadows. Check out the link below, which will take you to the video on my youtube channel.
Sorry for the lack of activity on this site. I’ve been busy with a few animation projects recently, they are going well. I’ll upload some of the work later today.
Speak to you guys soon 🙂
Tomorrow I am presenting my work as part of group project titled, ‘the time travel project’. As part of the project I have created a video time line about architecture during the decades of 1911-1921 and 1991-2001. The video shows a wide variety of buildings which have been built by many famous architects. For this project our group have also created a blog covering a few other topics during these decades such as, art and adverts. The link to the blog and my video will be listed below.
Sorry it’s been a while since I last posted, it’s been quite busy trying to juggle several projects at once. I’m starting to get into a routine now, so hopefully I’ll be able to post a bit more regularly. On Thursday I went to the Tate Britain with some of my other class mates. We went into the John Martin ‘Apocalypse” exhibition, which was great. I absolutely adored his work, I found it to be really uplifting although they were set on biblical catastrophes. I made several notes of some of his paintings and sketched a few as well. I particularly liked one called ‘The Tragic Conversion of Salvador Dali’ by Glenn Brown, which was based on John Martins painting, ‘The Great Day of His Wrath’. I liked this painting because of the use of bright and vivid colours, which both Glenn and John used to create depth and perspective to the landscape.
Today I created a photo montage which can be found below and on my photography page under the portfolio menu. The montage is made up of photographs I have taken throughout various locations around London, America and my town, Ashford.
See you all again soon.
Just finished uni for the day. Today was good, I learnt about framing, conceptual art and mapping. Time to get my head down and crack on with my work.
Hey, my second day has been good. Had a lecture about the terminology of computers and then set up a logbook for the year, to present my work. I’m now sat in Greenwich Park in the sunshine 🙂
Hey, yesterday was my official start to university. I had a great day watching several animations and film clips in the morning. In the afternoon we started some tutorial on Adobe Photoshop and 3Ds Max. It was good using Photoshop again, but it was interesting using 3Ds max for the first time. We are going to be set our first project next week, which involves creating a narrative animation set on the story surrounding Atlantis.
Keep update with me on twitter and my blog for further details.
